I've been waiting so patiently all year, hoping the plant in my backyard was butterfly weed. It probably isn't, but I found this little guy in my front yard a couple days ago!

Actually, butterfly weed (Asclepias tuberosa) has way less toxic compounds than other milkweeds, so rabbits can often munch on it without the same issues they'd have with common milkweed - that's why yours is getting eaten!
