Bill Gates? I don't think he is really involved much with Microsoft anymore. He stepped down from the board of directors in 2020.

He stepped down as CEO and all involvement in active development in 2008 even. This has nothing left of Bill Gates, not even strategy-wise.

I always assumed when people say things related to Bill Gates and Microsoft that they're being facetious, kinda like Todd Howard with Bethesda games.

Do people really think Bill Gates still runs Microsoft?

Who gives a shit if he's on the decisions board? As long as he is a majority shareholder, he's profiting from Microsoft's crimes.

He owns 1.38% - a terribly far cry from being a majority shareholder.

He's still one of the largest individual shareholder, though.
