And like most of the tesla mess, this is just going to hurt EVs in the long run.

I mean Tesla is pretty much the only manufacturer pushing EVs forward, so there's some wiggle room there...

Because a lot of the exageration can be attributed to weather.

Weather is accounted for in standardized testing. Teslas also come with heat pumps unlike virtually everyone else, so they're winter range will be much better.

And tesla marketing basically made everyone terrified of their range

And you also need the fastest possible charging because you need to charge up your entire battery in one go and need to sit in your car while you do it.

People don't want to sit at a charger for an hour waiting for their car to charge on a 15 hour drive. Tesla did not create that demand, people did.

PHEVs are neat but they are not better than EVs.

In a less shitty and less musk infested world

And once again it becomes clear that people like you are just shitting on Tesla because they hate Musk.

There are plenty of reasons to hate Tesla without fabricating nonsense.
