My cat ingested some thread from our curtains and the emergency surgery to get it out cost over $6000
Yes he's fine now! This happened last fall. The recovery period is so tough. Wearing the cone and/or onesie is a terrible experience for cats. Our little guy was miserable for 3+ weeks he had to have it on.
If you don't have pet insurance, get some now! We didn't. Signed up for coverage a day after his surgery. About $200 for a year and covers accidents like this.
