Impersonated another cloud engineer at FRB to access the firm's network and make configuration changes

I can see this at a mid size startup or enterprise, but a bank?

2 years for 220k damage? Isn't that basically what he earns in two years, so he could pay it back in five?

i could see it as a difficult thing to get hired in the same position after burning things down when leaving.
