Hi admin(s),

Would that be possible to update this server to the latest 0.18.1 version please?

  • we can't login on the Jerboa for Lemmy app because the version of this server is 0.17.4
  • we can't search communities from other servers. Try searching for the following examples:
    • [!kde@lemmy.ml](/c/kde@lemmy.ml)
    • [!pinetime@lemmy.world](/c/pinetime@lemmy.world)

Agreed, but I know there were complications: https://lemmyrs.org/post/52291

I don't know if they figured it out, reported the issue upstream, or how much they debugged it are all.

But if it isn't resolved soon, it might indicate that it would be better to move to a better maintained server.

Well, I hope they'll try again with a newer version when this hack shit is past and fixed...

18.1 just came out Thursday, right? I don't know what the issues were with 18 but a lot of other servers were waiting for 18.1, too. It hasn't been actually been much time.
