My take is that an ex girlfriend is bored? Bitter? And randomly posting everything she can and calling him a misogynist and a bad human controlling boyfriend etc etc, but who does that? The crazy is oozing out of her. Jonah has been in therapy and presented her with clear boundaries that he wanted in a relationship, he didn’t threaten or disrespect her. I don’t agree that it is anti feminist or misogynistic to be uncomfortable with certain behaviors that to him represent a red flag. Don’t swallow wholesale the rhetoric that women must be allowed to be empowered by posting sexy pictures of themselves, because that is not how all people feel and it certainly does not work for all relationships.
The pictures are one thing but telling a surf instructor that she's not allowed to Surf with men? I would call that just a tad bit overboard
What are the actual content of the texts about it? Was he like 'you can't ever surf with a dude.' or was it more 'I don't like you going on solo surfing adventures with a guy'

Clearly they needed to not be together and Jonah had more growing to do. Airing it out is a bad look imo unless he's straight up being abusive levels of controlling.
Either way. In any relationship saying you cant do things with men period is just crazy controlling behavior. Also the pic thing is honestly pretty over the top as well. You can go look at her instagram yourself if you want. Nothing is 'sexualized'. Its a surfer at the beach. Hell half the time she is wearing 1 pieces.
Yeah I agree that is crazy. There's surely a line thought right? Cos I wouldnt be ok with my girl going clubbing with one dude lol.
Yeah that is definitel a tad different then saying the hobby you turned into a career is now required to be only with women.
Yeah defo unhealthy and massive red flag. Tbh that's the point you should break it off immediately. And as a dude if you feel so scared of what might happen usually it means you need to work on something yourself before trying out the whole commitment idea.
