Or maybe it's the fact that OP admits he hasn't played the game in the first sentence?

I do admit I haven't played it. I know what's enjoyable after having a hole burnt in my wallet from meme hype and lies being pumped on the internet.

Meme trains are real and I'm VERY skeptical of any game that gains popularity overnight. This game hasn't proven me wrong either. I'd play it for max $15. It's maybe 6 hours of fun in my eyes.
