It's bad when people mispronounce mischievous but this dude actually spelled it the way people mispronounce it lmao
At this point I realize I've most likely ever only come across the mispronounced version...
Isn't the dictionary out of date then?
Sure is. Someone should tell Meriam.
If they don't listen, time to escalate to Webster.
The British seem very happy with keeping the "-tre" ending but pronouncing it "-ter" for centuries.
Not surprising, I think they even mispronounced it in an episode of Futurama. Just a shame because the proper way sounds so much better.
