I hate this. This is not about Democrats vs Republicans. It's about goddamn people. The people that live in a nation that was SUPPOSED to help the poor and unprivileged. It was SUPPOSED to be by the people and for the people. But the people that voted are goddamn morons and the ones that didn't pouted like a petulant child because "it's not progressive enough". Grow the fuck up. There was more at stake then your Instagram followers allegiance.
The people who were suppose to prevent this outcome were the democrats. By your own admission they couldn't beat a bunch of morons.

You're just arguing different things, this guys point is the democratic party has failed to counter fascism and needs to be replaced as the progressive party, and you're trying to sing kumbaya or something about unity and people. Ok. Good talk. I'm not having some hippy moment. He is talking about the technical aspects of who won and lost. I'm talking about who it benefits. It's not rocket science.
No matter which party wins in the current system, rich people and large corporations win, its just a matter of how much they win.
