Man, what a chadtastic chad Taiki was today. Calling Chinatsu's dad "father-in-law" was an incredible move. A note on that:
In the Japanese version, Taiki says "おとうさん" out loud, which simply means "father". But it was written as "お義父さん", which means "father-in-law". When the text was read back as Chinatsu's dad's reaction it was also written as "お義父さん", indicating that he understood it as such.
Also I'm realizing that even though the main character was living with his own dad for 173 chapters Chinatsu's dad already feels more like a fleshed-out character. Could just be recency bias though.
