Brego bourguignon.

A few bay leaves, some thyme and sage. Turnips and carrots, and taters too, if it was the time o' the year.

No worries - I just popped it open in GIMP and painted over the letters, the work of a moment.

Here you go, but it's been clipped from a bigger crossword (New York Times, February 6th 2022) and some of the squares across don't make sense in isolation.

The full crossword answer sheet is here on NYT.com but I doubt you'll be able to find a full blank grid and the clues online.

They're good dogs, Brent.

A gold hat on a volleyball could replace the royalty at a fraction of the cost.

Do we have any evidence or indication of that, other than this one spurious article?

Center right is Idris Elba as DCI John Luther in Luther, not as Stringer Bell in The Wire.

I think you're right – I was thinking a small portion of grits, but it's probably too neat.

It's a little sad to see, but so long as some people are enjoying it, I can't see why anyone would call for it to be stopped. Just don't watch it.

They really traced the pattern of The Simpsons on a massively accelerated timeline. Two or three seasons of clever, unexpected, unique humor, and now a stuttering stream of humdrum mediocrity and predictability.

As with The Simpsons after Season 8, if do you enjoy it, more power to you, there's nothing wrong with that and I'm honestly jealous — but I can't help thinking about what could have been.

The Crabtree effect is where Saccharomyces and Brettanomyces yeasts digest carbohydrates both anaerobically – producing ethanol, an antiseptic – and aerobically. Most yeasts in the presence of both sugar and oxygen prefer to only convert these to carbon dioxide and water, which is considerably more efficient but doesn't deter competitors for that sweet, sweet sugar.

Who knew botflies could be cute?

Description: an adult deer botfly (Cephenemyia stimulator) on a rock. Its body is covered with fur-like cetae, yellow and black, resembling a bumblebee a little. Its eyes are large and black.

After years of pouring love and dedication to recreating Morrowind in Skyrim's engine, we're reaching for the moon: we're shifting to Starfield's engine.

Say hello to Starwind! 🚀

  • Why walk when you can fly? Rocket boosted guars!
  • That's no moon(s)! Assemble your own interstellar silt strider.
  • The space race, now with 100% more cliff racers

Tamriel's vibrant and variant landscapes have been our home for years, a realm where our passion could roam as free as the nix hounds of Vvardenfell. ⁤⁤But as we looked up at the stars above, we saw the potential for magic far beyond what Skyrim's engine could offer. ⁤⁤Starfield's cutting-edge tech and vast cosmic canvas present us with the opportunity to reimagine Morrowind like never before.

We're grateful for your support, and we look forward to continuing on this journey with you, to the cosmos and beyond.

The Starwind Team ✨

This ancient Dwemer freehold straddles the border of the Grazelands and the Ashlands, and served historically as an important neutral ground for diplomatic talks. Its remaining inhabitants are not so eager for polite conversation.

CONFESSION TIME: we have an ulterior motive with this new series. It's not very evil, though. We love showing off what we've made, the attention we pay to detail, and our determination to make Skywind really goddamn good, BUT...

WE NEED 3D CLOTHING ARTISTS. It's a major bottleneck for us at the moment, and has been for some time. If you've got experience in modelling 3D clothing and soft materials, or if you know someone else who fits the bill, we'd be really keen to hear from them. Tell everyone you know 💚
