Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Laube deserved a light sentence, Carney said, because prosecutors should have focused on leftist groups

As if it has any bearing on this guy’s guilt or innocence.

I should have realized when they were complaining about “Activist judges” what they meant was there weren’t enough on their side.

Keep in mind that with the radicalized right wing, it is ALWAYS projection. This cannot be overemphasized.

If antifa is the bad guy in your story, you might be a fascist.

Carney succeeded Virginia A. Phillips as Chief Judge of the Central District of California on June 1, 2020.[8] However, he stepped down on June 26, 2020 in light of allegations that he had made racially insensitive comments regarding the Clerk of the Court, Kiry Gray, who is African American. Carney referred to Gray as "street smart" and telling her "it was not like I was the police officer standing on your neck."[35][36][37] Carney apologized to Gray for the remark.

Casually racist... shocking...

That's RIGHT! DEMOCRATS are the Swamp because Republicans are giving other Republicans Light Sentences DESPITE the Law!

This is how they justify half the evil shit they do... make up lies saying the left is doing it too so they need to do it to make it fair.

Demand that these fucking outlets don't get away with plainly saying "judge", with no additional qualifier, in the age of trump and the federalist society. A "judge" is now longer an impartial, qualified, thing that deserves the same universal recognition, respect and acknowledgment as it once may have.

The republicans have broken that pact with society, and no longer taking "judge" at face value is one of the consequences. Fucking puppet clown is a more appropriate title for these wholly corrupted, incompetent pseudo authorities.
