I use the Xiaomi Bluetooth ones they use as a comparison in that review.

I never considered BT as an option, went heavy on Zigbee, but the new HA distributed BT stuff looks good.

The sensors are cheap and efficient, so it seemed like a good idea at the time. This is the antenna I use but it was a few years ago and there may be better options.
