So basically they never planned a proper ending for it? I think this is the post that makes me decide to skip it, sorry.
EDIT: Maybe they'll structure it so the ending episodes call back to a problem from the start and all the seasons in between were just side quests, lol.
I didn't skip the first one, but the shitty open ending convinced me I wouldn't be watching the next series.
Absolutely guaran-fuckin-teed it has a first episode that's an amazing work of art, then ten filler episodes that are the visual equivalent of wallpaper paste, then a last episode that teases the next series.
So done with American series, they're nothing but cash cows.
