That was simply majestic 🥲
Idk much about bonsai, but that crepe doesn't appear to be in full bloom to me. I have 4 mini crepes in my flower bed and once they go full bloom they are engulfed in flowers, all the buds blooming at once with new buds popping up underneath which typically doesn't happen until mid to late june
In bonsai cultivation we often remove the flower buds to promote energy and growth towards better ramification. If you want to be pedantic, I guess you could say this is mid bloom.
