It's funny to see which things haven't transferred over through cultural osmosis through the years. I would have assumed most people here would still recognize this. Clearly I'm an out of touch relic!

I'm sorry, a podcast I listen to has that sound bite as part of their intro. I wasn't sure if you were a fan, "Rise from your grave" is inextricably linked with "what was that?" In my brain.

Old game called "Altered Beast". You could transform into a few different beasts. Classic side-scrolling game.

Was a good 2 player monster beat-em-up.
Good is arguable... Out of all the Genesis games I had I played it the least. Toejam and Earl was where it's at.
In the arcade it was infuriating and seemed a highly difficult 1CC, but compared to the whole spectrum of 80s arcade games it was good.
