I mean at the beginning of the war there were literally mobile Crematoriums driving around...

Yea there were already earlier reports of this so no surprise here. Imagine not only dying for a useless war, but your government covers up your death and countless others to avoid paying your family some scraps of useless rubles.

Poor record keeping is on brand with how they functioned as the USSR

Putin just wants to go back to the good ol' days.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Which good ol' days: The ones of the USSR where they moved at a glacial pace and gatekeep the necessities of life, or the days as a Tsar where the nobility fucks over the common man? The way he behaves, he wants to be the latter, because he despises the former.

Ukrainska pravda

"According to the Ukrainian General Staff..."

And into the trash it goes.

please have some critical eye regarding sources. In war the first casualty is always truth.

This is a good point, on one hand. However, Ukraine has been publicly truthful throughout the war; they don’t want to risk Western support and opinion by spouting bs that could be disproved and damage their reputation.
