When I post a reply, the reply should be visible without the need to manually refresh (lemm.ee)

When I post a comment reply, the reply isn't visible after I hit the post button. I need to manually refresh the page to make it appear. Seems that it would make more sense for it to appear immediately, otherwise users might think it didn't even post.

Similar problem: when you view a comment reply the link takes you to the whole post. And then you have to manually scroll through to find the thread. Less of an issue while Lemmy is small but this will be bad once it's bigger.

I think this is because how federation works that your comment will need a time to reach remote community. I personally accepted this as the "quirk" of fediverse. But may be, when it takes time send the comment, Liftoff should just show the comment using local data to avoid users confusion. 🤔

Yes, the comment appears instantly if I do an immediate refresh, so I don't see why this can't happen automatically.
