Summary

At least five people were killed in shootings near Dunkirk, France, including one in the town of Wormhout and four at the Loon-Plage migrant camp.

The victims at the camp were two security guards and two residents. A 22-year-old man claiming responsibility for the attacks surrendered to police and admitted to the killings.

Authorities recovered additional weapons in his car, but the motive remains unclear.

The Loon-Plage camp hosts primarily Kurdish and Afghan refugees, including families with children, highlighting ongoing tensions in the area.

They think it will scare away the migrants that did everything they could to get there, including cross rough seas at the risk of certain death. They're also often fleeing certain death, which is why they left in the first place.

In other words, it won't.

Think about all the hard working American CEOs!!! These people are poor because they chose not to be an American CEO.

This guy went to kill his ex-boss and ex-coworkers.. Don't know if the 2 migrants were collateral damage or a secondary target.

They’re not poor people, they’re immigrants and all that entails. When I worked in the can in Calais, the fast would turn up and start fights and abuse people, and the police just watched. It’s not a great environment round there

For anyone wondering, the first guy killed was the ex-employer of the killer, and one (or maybe two) of the two security guards were his ex-colleagues. The two migrants had probably nothing to do with the killer and were collateral victimes... Impossible to know the race of the killer, but based on the boss name, the boss was a local guy from the North of France or Belgium.
