Hell you see it in the reef blower episode, one of the first two episodes. You see his backyard before you even first see Sandy.
The official SpongeBob account does not seem to be presenting "backyard does not exist" as a fact, but instead presents "you have not seen the backyard" as a very likely possibility.
Adding the fact to the original post is fine, but nowhere did the original account claim anything that should get a snarky "You might want to delete this account hurr durr" response.
