Wow, looks pretty amazing...did not know Kdenlive is able to do such things

@kdenlive We have created a 5 hours long documentary (4 parts) entirely with Kdenlive. Took us 2-3 years, and 3.3 terabytes of project files. Some 40 hours of 4k footage edited.

And we posted it all for free - tromsite.com/documentaries/tro… - streaming from or own Peertube instance.

Trailer - videos.trom.tf/w/uzsWV9z42KKG6…

I think this is a clear demonstration of what can be done with Kdenlive.

@kdenlive @kde Why, Matrix Live of course!

Basic editing, but Kdenlive is incredibly powerful for all types of tasks.

Our internal handbook has a special mention for it 😇

@kdenlive @kde
Most of the more modern videos at https://youtube.com/holarse (--> @holarse ) are recorded using #OBS and edited via #kdenlive.
Source: me, I made 'em 😅
Don't know what else to tell you guys about it tbh, it just works the way I/we need it.

@kdenlive @kde I edit all my recent videos on YouTube using #kdenlive and it's great, it does what I need it to all of the time. I don't have the most over the top edits or anything but it fits perfectly on my use case of making short gaming compilations. I'm working on a bigger video of a product review and that's gonna be the real test for me if I will continue using kden or not, all the b-roll, narration and superimposed pictures are gonna be challenging to do. Love the work you guys do

@kdenlive @kde I'm more photographer than videographer but damn, this pic is like porn to my eyes.

"FOSS cannot be used for professional work" my ass.

Would not consider myself a filmmaker at all. But I use it to make some tutorials that I record with OBS for a wiki.

I also use it to make quick and dirty skit shorts that I put on various platforms.

I used it reedit evil dead 1,2 and army of darkness into a massive super cut

I use @kdenlive for the last 20 years more or less, Cinelerra before that but I like the stability of Kdenlive.
