High schooler in anime: is horny, girls begging to get in pants, refuse because reasons?

High school in real life: is horny, girl makes what she thinks is obvious pass at you, be completely oblivious, realize 20 years later you completely missed it.

I wonder what teen life would be in a best case post scarcity civilization, where no one HAS TO work or learn anything and humans stick around.

We'd probably have bullshit high school like anime where it's basically 90% narrative driven entertainment. Not explicitly designed to teach you anything, but mainly to be fun.

At least that's what I wish would happen

Education will always be important. Otherwise we'll find ourselves in the Warhammer universe with a bunch of amazing relics that no one seems to be able to maintain falling apart.

I don't think we would stop trying to learn more just because our basic needs are met. I think of it more like star trek where one goes as far as one wants. figure your still going to have the reading, writing, and arithmetic so that people can learn and maybe that will be the extent for some and maybe some will work more on athletics and some academics and some will not make the cut despite the drive and quit out while others will maintain the passion in amateur persuits. Then again maybe we can just download skills although even then the big thing is if people will want to pursue those research level things.

Being post-scarcity doesn't mean we no longer need to educate people, that would have us fall into regression. Even if there's no more work required to be done, people still need a basic level of training to engage in the arts and scientific study.
