I don't think 9/11 would have been successful under him. The Clinton administration was well aware of the danger but the bush administration refused to talk to the outgoing administration. Heck the patriot act was only necessary because the bush administration was not doing its job and bringing together the information it received from various agencies. The patriot act was basically a work around against incompetent presidential administrations.

Yeah I don't know who these over 30 happy people are. The pres just said he plans to rendition citizens to a foreign prison anytime he reasons they did something to warrant it. My brother with kids is super worried. I don't have kids but still not likin it.
If you have any general non for profit conventions around they at least used to have a standard 24hour movie room and 24hour anime room. Near me one of the rooms would do godzilla for the wee hours.
I can agree with the second part but the first part is just a phrasing to make it sound bad. I mean the move to use the republicans blunder against them sounds a lot better. I don't really know what internal talk went with the democrats but I would not be surprised if it was somewhat like what we see online but with the membership with some saying we can't go with anything they do on principle and others saying wait a second doing that will be overall worse.
My feeling is if you never read the books its likely going to seem like a nice fantasy series and you likely won't miss the inconsistency due to some changes but you might if your a detailed oriented person although they skip stuff to the point were it might be noticed. Like all of a sudden folks are together or in a place and they don't go through how they got there. I do think having read the books makes it more of an issue but there is a guy who said he read the books through twice (no mean feet as there are a lot of them and each one is like a dictionary in size) and still likes it so I guess to each his own. That further being said my wife does not like it and she never read any of the books and loved the lord of the rings (which she had also never read). She won't even watch it with me after season one although I don't really encourage it since I watch and then complain about it to her.

sigh. was going to skip but you started you reply with only possible argument. And I get it I had knee jerk was to just not vote with them. The thing is trumps main focus right now is tearing apart the government but he does hit road blocks in that you can't just fire people without reason unless they have not been there long. So its being fought and he is limited. In a government shutdown scenario the executive (trump) has to furlough people and can decide who is necessary and who is not. Courts can't put a stop to it because its a furlough due to a shutdown. Then any bad effects can now be blamed on the democrats plus when the shutdown is over he can point to we ran well enough without the furloughed folks which is why they should be let go. The shutdown is not really a good option. I get the feeling but the smart move was to prevent the shutdown.
I already went through that it plays into his hands. now he can furlough whoever he likes and the court can't say boo. right now the firings are being challenged and that is a good thing. - Look im adding this here as I meant to put it before. My knee jerk reaction was the same. Resist no matter what but I have outlayed why its worse to allow the shutdown is all. Be mad thats fine. But I just thought it over and realized the shutdown could be and likely would be worse and just allow trump to do what he is doing easier. He effectively is shutting down the government on a permanent basis.
government is not stopped. we have had government shutdowns and things keep going. non essential government as chosen by the executive arm of the government are shutdown. I have been through two or three shutdowns. everything is not shut down. I mean I have listed why its actually worse if its shut down in this particular scenario. there is not more to tell. it really does play into their favor and the only reason they would not want to overtly do it is optics.
unfortunately wheel of time. I can't keep from wanting it to be better. I really don't get how that ip took so long for something and finally when it gets done it diverges so far from the source material.

She often talks about womens clothing have inadequate, no, or fake pockets. I do like pockets myself and I love my winter jacket which has a ton. As I have gotten older I have gravitated to more comfortable and usually lighter clothes which usually have fewer pockets (although being mens clothing it still has them). I liked how woman have purses to carry stuff but am not wild about them. I used to sport a fanny back but now I have a homemade sorta bandolier I use which I find easier to throw on and off and stays more balanced.
She has had similarly veined comics in the past and the rollover text on the site has her saying she bets she will be doing a new version of this in 10 years.
I can't imagine going out dancing like I used to.
So I got a comment on friday where the person does not understand the comic. This comic is semi-autobiographical. The artist has been doing it for well over 20 years and like im not sure about the initial ones in college but at some point got very good at having I comic every day. I only do the weekday ones which is basically the main thing. They post a non sequitor type thing on saturday that uses the same pattern and sundays is sorta a freeday where they post a random piece of artwork or such that they did. Saturdays is almost always political or pop culture jokes. Anyway unlike most comics the characters have a person and now actually a family behind it. Todays is likely the most common although its not always the flu. Could be someone crashed into their car or really anything you might think of that messed up a significant hours of a day. Might as well mention that while its like a diary the artist has mentioned they intentionally only do stuff from the kids after two years have passed. I think they talk with the kids if they are going to be in the comic and if they don't want it they will do something else.
