Call me a cynic, but lately any time something is announced to have been "open sourced", I always get this deep dread that when they say "open sourced", what they really mean is completely not at all Open Source. (Released weights for download like LLaMa or released source code under a non-Open-Source license like Futo does.)

But then I'm always delighted when I go and check the horse's mouth and find, as in this case, that in fact the "open sourced" thing in question is in fact Open Source (and in this case, also Free Software!)
