One of my favorite bands. Almost of their music is relevant & fitting. The other commenter here must love mumble rap or something to not understand the relevance of the album art & their music, especially at the time.

➤ Simple Guidelines
➧1. Include the original album name, author and year of release. If you do not know some of the required information, state that in either the title or top-level comment e.g. [Author/s - Album Name (Unknown Year)]. The reason we ask for this information is that you can only search on the content of post titles, not comments.
➧2. No low-effort/low-quality posts. Posts made to c/albumartporn are expected to be of high quality and have serious effort put behind them. The album cover should be clean, not have any urls/website watermarks in them.
➧3. Be Original
➧4. Be respectful. Harassment, abuse, name calling, and/or threats of any kind is not tolerated here. Any content, whether an image or a comment, that includes any kind of bigoted language or hate speech will be met with a permanent ban.
➧5. No off-topic Content Never post anything that is off-topic (i.e. not album art) or that contains gory material.
➧6. No spam or reposts. Do not submit more than one of the same post/comment on this community or across multiple communities. In addition, please wait at least 3 months before reposting an image that has already been posted to c/albumartporn, and do not repost from the top of all time.
➧7. No advertisement or self-promotion. Do not use this community to advertise or self-promote. This includes (but is not limited to) websites, articles, blog posts, and brands.
➧8. No memes, gifs, videos, audios. Just album covers
➧9. Tag NSFW Posts · Nudity: Obvious, implied or strategically covered · Content that is “sexually explicit”. Gore, both human and non-human is not allowed. No spam.
➠Feel free to report any content that does not respect these rules.

Almost all their albums are relevant to what humanity is going through. Their lyricism is insanely good (also their album art is rad)
Hey, hey, we are getting fucking fucked
They were way better in the 2000s though, I agree.
If you haven't been to a concert and get the chance to, I can only recommend it! They always put up a good show.
The other commenter here must love mumble rap
No. In fact, I love their 2nd to 5th albums and the middle songs on this album, and I like The 2nd Law and half of Simulation Theory.
not understand the relevance of the album art & their music
I do. But having a great and ambitious idea doesn't necessarily mean the execution is good. I find this album art incredibly plastic, and as an anarchist gearing up for this month's model congress I know way better album covers negatively depicting authority.
Oh god, my eyes.
Okay, the album art is cringe. There’s no going around it. It is cringe and embarrassing. Its so bad that every piece of “alternative art” made by the fans is better than it. It’s so bad that there are MULTIPLE online articles just talking about how bad it is, one of them even going viral with the devastatingly satirical headline “Muse Album Cover Sparks the Collapse of Capitalism”. Damn, brutal. But it’s not like it’s undeserved. Muse have had some questionable album art in the past, but this was a new low. If this were released today there would have been thousands of “we live in a society” memes making fun of this thing. It looks like it was made by a teenager who takes themselves too seriously and thinks they’re deeper than they actually, which…is actually quite fitting
