It's not a big surprise that Macduffs got the boot yesterday, but it's more decisive than I'd expected. I'm glad I got to throw them a vote before they dropped out, because I really enjoy their base.
I haven't used the Moos in too long. Such a nice scent. And the MM24 did a great job as always.

It feels surprisingly normal. Just needed to get a bigger mug to dunk it in.
Love the brush! I have one brush with a Motherlode knot in it but nothing like that one. Great setup that you, and others, have coordinated today!

As someone who normally shaves with a straight razor, it's fun to use these new fangled gadgets once in a while. I enjoy BDLM3 a lot. Don't know why I don't use it more often.

First shave with the Wallflower soap. I like this scent, and the base performs pretty well.
Same gear and recording two shaves here because I couldn't be arsed during the week

Soft heart sandalwood. Proof that a single note can resonate more powerfully than a chord. And possibly my favourite base. Not tons left so it's a good option for the next tub kill. I may keep a sample if I do go for the kill.

Gothic revival.
Second soap from Wickham a limited edition dupe of eucris I think. Good shave and a nice posh barbershop scent to my mind.
