This is wonderful advice as to how to write a good squashed commit, merge commit, or pull request. But when you come back from code review and Sr. Dev tells you ...

"You can't make the application pink. Change the text to white and make sure all your other changes conform to WCAG standards. Also, we can't automatically delete post comments instantaneously because of our security and legal compliance policy. Put the deleted comments along with their parent post into a temporary database meant to be garbage collected every 90 days."

You're going to want the nitty gritty on that first line so you know where to start your revision branches. Only invert that triangle when (you think) you're done.
