It seems that they think that if they scream "AI" loud enough and pretend it is sentient no one will know that most of the world working towards automated intelligence are now aiming for an Intelligent Agent, or "IA", and the general census seems to be IA wont be achievable with current AI models.
Also "IA" wouldn't need a button. It would just dip.
Bing / chatgpt already does this. I've seen it high tail out of tasks or totally lie that it's still working on something when it obviously isn't at all.
Is it because the AI has to avoid certain topics?
