Recorded in June 1965 and released in 1966. Considered a watershed in Coltrane's work with the albums recorded before it being more conventional in structure, and the albums recorded after it being looser, free jazz inspired works

I mean... this is just wild. The second half, honestly, felt very challenging to me but so rewarding in the end.

I don't know how they let him publish this, but thank god they did! I've accepted I'll never really understand it, but it just keeps getting better with every listen. Interstellar Space is a similar level of insanity if you haven't heard it yet.
