This is an admittedly overdone topic. There are video after video after video after video of people saying this or that or whatever is the worst weapon in tf2. There are arguably just as many worst weapons as there are weapons.

I, however, wanted to answer this definitively... plus I think semantic arguments are the best ones. As soon as someone whips out a dictionary online you know you're in for a good time.

The worst weapon is tied between the heal beam, the Rocket Jumper, and the sandvich because none of them actually deal damage, making them absolutely terrible weapons.

That's actually the whole point of the video, though I see it as a joke, not actual analysis.

This is actually talked about in the video! None of those count as weapons because the definition of weapon includes being able to injure. Therefore they can't be the worst weapon... Since they aren't weapons.

Funny video. Of course he was going to mention the pipe. So is a gun a weapon or the bullet that it fires and that actually causes the damage?

Given that gun is explicitly an example in the definition I would say the gun. The bullet is ammunition which is defined as:

the projectiles with their fuses, propelling charges, or primers fired from guns
