Here is today's puzzle! If you'd prefer, or want to try out, cryptic clues, then you can do the puzzle here: https://app.pinones.io/puzzles/how-to-reach-the-moon-by-folding-paper-cryptic

Hope you enjoy!

Instructions:

Best viewed on desktop!

  1. Solve the grid using the clues provided. The direction of the word is indicated by the number around the grid (so some words are backwards).

  2. After you complete the grid, click the pencil icon tab at the bottom to switch over to solve the anagram. The title is a hint to the anagram!

3:50 today. I didn't see the cryptic clues option until after I finished. I'll have to give it a shot.

Would love to know how the cryptic went!

Wow, those were really challenging. I remembered most of the answers from Monday, so I was able to make sense of most of the answers working backwards. I'm still not too sure about 3 down. For 4 down I forgot the answer and got it by solving the clue. Very difficult!

I really love setting cryptic clues, and by no means am I that proficient at them, but it's not a huge group who can solve them - though it's one of my long-term goals to foster more of a love for cryptics!

For 3 down >!I'm being a little sneaky with a Master's degree, which is denoted by "Ma", so two "Masters" would be MaMa!<!

Now that's an impressive time for a 14-letter puzzle!

I should have read the instructions - just completed it on my phone without knowing anything going in. 11 minutes, but I'll definitely use a desktop next time.

11 minutes while also figuring everything out is still a solid time, but yes, desktop will significantly reduce that time!

i still can't figure out how to solve this. you need to have an example of what it looks like when solved or an "I give up" button.

I DM'd you a picture of the solved grid πŸ™‚
