that's a new spike in the ever growing enshitification of Plex.

Gotta finish set-up my Jellyfin server!

I feel like it's another step towards "we don't have any recurring income, so we are scrapping the whole thing, sorry" followed by making sure it doesn't work when their servers go offline.
