My older kitty (14ishM) had his health decline over the weekend. Vomiting, no appetite (unusual for an obese cat on a diet), not his usual self. Got an x-ray done and the vet said he has never seen so many gallstones in a cat. It likely caused an infection, as antibiotics are helping him greatly. As for the gallstones, we are trying medication, but would likely need surgery to deal with them, but since he is older and the surgery can be risky, we are considering just managing his treatments and getting him back to functioning and happy. We did not see any symptoms of this until the liver issues so it was hard to catch :( would love well wishes for Ned and wanted to make awareness to this issue!

Best wishes. Hopefully he'll perk up after the infection clears.

Maybe he'll tolerate the gallstones as well as I do with mine ๐Ÿ˜‰

Here's hoping Ned gets well soon. My senior kitty was OK with a single gallstone, although I had to keep an eye out for infection.
