Explanation: A corvus is an ancient Roman naval boarding device of the kind shown, basically a bridge with a nail in it put on a warship. I think it's got some dark horse energy in this matchup, I'm betting on the corvus as the winner ๐Ÿ™

Yeah. The captain and the sailors would just laugh and underestimate it. "Let it get closer boys, don't shoot at it. Looks really cute, take some pictures before we sink this museum piece hahahaha".

Ram crashes down, rips into stored ammunition that blows half the ship apart, angry romans engage in brutal melee combat with confused and dazed marines.

Especially after the hunk of iron runs our of fuel. You can power the corvus on cheetos and red bull, but without oil, the corvette is dead in the water. Even it's weapons system, other than side arms, is useless.

Forget giving radio to the Romans. Let's give energy drinks to legionaries.

Depends on the contest. If it's a battle, big guns go brrrr, but if it's a style contest, corvus 10/10

Is that an AI rendering of a modern warship, because that doesn't actually look like any U.S. warship I know.
