Milokay says that bears who have been habituated to human food can try to rip open garage doors and break windows once they want to get their reward.

If you’re in the woods with headphones on (or a speaker), what the actual fuck are you doing listening to music instead of nature?

I run in the woods with music playing through a speaker.

Why?

So the animals know where I am.

That way, the bears announce themselves when I’m still a reasonable distance away, and we can avoid each other.

Plus, the birds like the music.
