When did those two words start meaning different things?

Ironically, chonky is this generation's cutesy-husky

Here’s some AI slop to definitely explain this in a coherent way.

Oh no the laser is too powerful! You shot straight through!

Chonky and fat are the same thing. Did they mean floofy?

Will Imperial vs. Metric arguments never be settled?!

Ugh, don't bring that up again.

It's really simple: one chonky bear converts to 4 lynxes, which weigh 17 raccoons, which in turn weigh exactly 7 armadillos, that come down to 638 roaches.

Upwards conversion is just as easy: one chonky bear is exactly 1/3 of a Swasticar, which converts to 2/7 of a large boulder the size of a small boulder.

Great tangent, well done team!

Wicked, now we can fat shame bears instead of each other.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago

Why not both?

This is one of my favourite Lemmy communities. I always smile at posts like these (and I often have at least one friend who would enjoy such posts)

So... more excuses to use lasers?

This feels like a poor response to the "would you rather be alone in the woods with a man or a bear" social profiler. "Yeah but that bear is fat, would you really want to be mauled by a fat bear instead of violated and gaslit by an aLpHa MaLe?!"

Just ask bears. I am sure they are all big-boned.
