A young single mother looked up and felt her privacy evaporate when she noticed a tiny camera in the bathroom ceiling of the basement apartment she lived in with her toddler.

She said it looked like a screw, no bigger than a pinky nail.

"But I had a feeling it wasn't a screw. I was shaking, I was in sheer, utter panic," she said in an interview from her mother's home in Digby County, N.S.

The woman, who CBC News cannot name because her identity and the identity of her son are protected by a court-ordered publication ban, said finding the camera turned her world upside down.

The link goes to a completely different article about the sexual assault trial of 5 former world junior hockey players.

I think you meant to post this link.

I think there must be an issue with federation because it's still not correct for me.

My luck someone would knock on my door, demand their camera back and then tell me I need Jesus.

These things happen. Depending on the camera it wouldn't be too hard to determine the installer. At least I hope they didn't start telling the story before the investigation.

It states in the article that they ripped out the camera and traced the cable back to the landlords home.

He lived upstairs and the camera lead to a secret compartment under his bathroom floorboards. He was also sexually harassing her and had previously kicked in her door. Seems pretty cut and dry to me.

Yeah, I just accidentally added a camera to my neighbors bathroom too.

WTF?

Accidentally? Yeah, of course...

huh I've seen something like that in a shower before 🤔 I never liked that weird thing. Idk I always felt like I should have gotten someone to check it out

Yeah. Too often we blow off seeing things like that when we should be trusting our instincts.

Like it looked exactly like the pic, but right in the shower and I remember I had just moved their and felt super uncomfortable about it but I wasn't staying long term so I kept shrugging it off bc the landlord didn't live anywhere close

Justice would be to have his ass thrown in prison and all his assets, including the house, transferred to this woman. Also, let the general population of the priso know that he liked to watch kids use the bathroom.
