I know that the article is about the unanswered questions but I think that it’s a bit disrespectful (of the BBC) to her to use that photo as the lead.

The article seems to have a very narrow purview on what the unanswered questions are. The only one that appears to be spelled out is the origins of that photo, so that's why they used it. The rest I guess is what was in the settlement which she already agreed not to disclose while living.

The article doesn't tell us anything that's known about her bus accident a few weeks back, her hospitalization, her subsequent release, and the circumstances of her death.
