<Isekai Walking. Vol. 2> - The volume progesses at a good pace and the story was keeping me interested throughout apart from a few instances where diffrent POV chapters were thrown in. Those chapters broke the flow somewhat and reading the afterword they seem to be added for the novel version which would explain why they stick out so much. But they were very short so it wasn't too much of a bother. If someone else picks up the volume I would suggest to just skim those chapters since they literally add nothing of worth to the plot. 7/10

<Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods, Vol. 1> - I expected something comfy, but was mostly bored. The writing is as predictable as it gets. Every single time MC notices something wrong, some deus ex machina appears and fixes it immediatly for him. 4/10

<A Cozy Life in the Woods with the White Witch: Volume 2> - This was comfy but the adult MC that gets all flustered because a girl is looking at him archetype is grating. 4/10

Hello Bookworm! I looked it up, and the Library in Alexandria — which just so happens to be the greatest in all of Yurgenschmidt, nay... even the entire world — has the following entries:

Isekai Walking by J-Novel Club: 🖥️ Vol. 1, 2, 3 (1 Bookworm rated it at average 7.0/10)

Kusunoki's Garden of Gods by Yen Press: 📖 Vol. 1, 2; 🖥️ Vol. 1, 2 (1 Bookworm rated it at average 4.0/10)

A Cozy Life in the Woods with the White Witch by J-Novel Club: 🖥️ Vol. 1, 2 (1 Bookworm rated it at average 4.0/10)

< Otherside Picnic > vol 1 recently there was a mid-week discussion about first sentences and this one is somewhere at the top "Beneath the clear May sky, I lay in a grassy field, drowning." Establishes a scene and creates a mystery. How someone can drown in a grassy field?

Overall volume 1 was great. Can't wait to devour rest of the series. In short I would describe it as S.T.A.L.K.E.R Japan edition. We have anomalies that can be detected with bolts, armies that operate in the zone, artifacts that can be sold for profit and a lot of guns. 8/10

< Disowned but not Disheartened! > vol 1 the author doesn't know what "disowned" means. The disowned status of the MC changes depending on circumstances. Sometimes the MC has legal guardian, but sometimes she needs to navigate the politics of noble house of her bio-dad. It got boring and I dropped it in vol 2 4/10

< From Two-Bit Baddie to Total Heartthrob: This Villainess Will Cross-Dress to Impress! > vol 3 - I didn't know where it could go after strong ending of volume 2. This feels like a forced sequel than anything. We have got a bit world building and some action but that sense of unrelenting pursuit towards the goal isn't there. 6.5/10

“Beneath the clear May sky, I lay in a grassy field, drowning.”

I like that. Perfect example of a great first line.

Hello Bookworm! I looked it up, and the Library in Alexandria — which just so happens to be the greatest in all of Yurgenschmidt, nay... even the entire world — has the following entries:

Otherside Picnic by J-Novel Club: 📖 Vol. 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8; 🖥️ Vol. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 (1 Bookworm rated it at average 8.0/10)

I couldn't find a series with the name " Disowned but not Disheartened! ". Maybe you should write it and send a copy to my library. In fact, I think this is a great idea and you absolutely should do so. Right now. Chop chop.

From Two-Bit Baddie to Total Heartthrob: This Villainess Will Cross-Dress to Impress! by J-Novel Club: 🖥️ Vol. 1, 2, 3 (1 Bookworm rated it at average 6.5/10)
