  • Brush: TGS Galaxy 26 mm
  • Razor: RazoRock Cyber Medium w/ Superknurl handle
  • Blade: BIC Chrome Platinum
  • Lather: Abbate Y La Mantia - Blu Tobacco
  • Post-Shave: Lavera Men sensitive ASB

-> single pass WTG head shave again. Not very close, but comfortable nonetheless.

Trying to be more active in wetshaving is difficult when there's a thousand other things on your mind. I even had to get back to my bathroom because I couldn't remember the right name for the artisan...

However, this was a nice night shave to calm down before it's back to nursing school tomorrow. Final month before the exams, crunch time. A nice shave helps to clear my head before this (figuratively and literally).

Anyways, have a nice start into the new week! ✌🏻

2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.

Great test shave for this razor! I created the edge with a Japanese Karasu natural stone and could not be happier with its comfort and closeness.

345 Soaps has a great soap base for straight razor shaving, and the scent of Undercut (lily, patchouli, sandalwood, dash of vanilla, tobacco, cedar, amber) feels like a warm, perfect-weather day.

  • Brush: Declaration Grooming Washington Blood of Kings B3
  • Razor: Koraat – r/Wetshaving exclusive Moarteen (15/16", full hollow, carbon steel)
  • Lather: Martin de Candre – Absinthe
  • Post Shave: Brut – Oceans

Nice afternoon shave after a busy Sunday morning and a busy week. The Martin de Candre base works really well for me and the spearmint bubblegum scent of Absinthe is pure childlike joy.

So I finally rehoned the River Razors Kamisori, into a smiling and very short kamisori. It works well enough.

Have a good day!

Do you have a picture of the new geometry?

Here we go:

Not great, but I had to take off a bit of the nose, and it's easier to hone an ex-straight straight when it has a smile

Edit: Boris de Rivière shortened the razor, but the nose was still a bit too much out of alignment that I had to take it a bit off

Oh yeah, that's quite the smile! And nice that you can continue to enjoy the razor, I never really understood why straight razors are as long as they are anyway.

Well, now it's my razor (with warts and all)!

Decent! One little cut that I barely noticed. I would have used a DE if I had known I was going to pick up some overtime at work today, but this shave is certainly acceptable for the job.

So impressed by this razor. Even after two shaves, I could see this being my desert island razor.
