Is there a way to automatically expand images in all posts in the subscribed/local/all feeds? (lemmy.ml)

Hello, new to Lemmy. I'm using a mobile browser, and currently when I want to expand images in my feed, I manually click the icon on the top right of each post. Is there a setting that I can configure so that it will

look like this by default,

rather than this?

Funnily enough - my instance already does this in the UI and I actually dislike it! So I would want to opt out of it, but can't (at least until the UI in my instance is further modified).

Having this as a controllable user preference in the "default" webui would solve both my problem and yours, and probably many others too :)
