Oh my god, I missed the S on the end of crustaceans. I was horrified for a moment. I thought this had to be satire. Some kind of Cthulhu-esque crustacean covering half the sea floor, just waiting, eating everything.

If these are everywhere on the seafloor, what do they taste like? Can they be caught at that depth, and without huge environmental damage from bottom scraping or such...
Big lobster? More like shrimp? Just eat the tail?
