Sounds like more of the sameto me.
They want to intercept communications, store it forever, break encryption and use AI to waddle through the massive ammount of data they intercept and imagine they will get access to when encryption can be broken.
And since EU is effectively not based on democracy, European citizens won't be able to stop this.
