Mass surveillance everywhere all the time forever, just in case you ever decide to become a terrorist, or plan a robbery, or sell drugs online, or your description matches a suspect, or the cops have reasonable suspicion, or you plan on attending a protest against the government, or you say something bad about the Supreme Leader, or....

Lawful interception. Lawmakers seek to explore measures aimed at improving cross-border cooperation for lawful interception of data.

Sounds like more of the sameto me.

They want to intercept communications, store it forever, break encryption and use AI to waddle through the massive ammount of data they intercept and imagine they will get access to when encryption can be broken.
