When you have kids, you will realize just how often they fucking wait until the absolute last minute to do anything.

So we are trying to make sure everything has been taken care of and a low level of stress by the time you leave the house.

By the time you have your own kids(assuming you do), you've also likely already experienced what it's like to miss a flight because traffic/flat tire/ had to go back because something important was forgotten/kid had to go to the bathroom, etc... And you are doing everything in your power to prevent that from happening.

I have a toddler. Takes me half an hour just to get out of the house. A diaper and clothes change alone with a 1 year old with the strength of Atlas and the personality of Sheogorath is pretty much like one of those sped up Benny Hill scenes.

If I ever get to fly again, I'm packing a damn week in advance and arriving at the airport 4 hours early.

Hmmm my parents always woke me up way too early I got ready and waited for them to do their stuff last minute (though for important things they usually planned ahead a little more) we were often late and it was my fault for not being ready (having my shoes on 10 minutes before we leave).

Parents are clearly just hypocrites.

Uber has been stuck at the same light for like, 20 minutes now. What is he DOING?

I'd rather be at the location so I don't miss the thing, than to have even the possibility of being late.
