I always hated the Reddit layout; sure it's familiar and comforting if you're that way inclined, but it's hugely outdated and janky to use.
Lemmy is its own thing, it doesn't need to ride on Reddit's coat tails.

I also think it looks pretty horrible, but if it's not much extra expense to host then I see no problem with offering the choice

A part of me really likes it, as I love the functional reddit interface. But a part of me thinks feddit.uk should have its own unique, functional style that makes it stand out.
This would make it so much easier to transition away from reddit 😮 How does it work with logging in from an account on here?
