DC has the absolute best animated library.

I can rewatch Batman TAS, Superman TAS, Justice League Unlimited anytime. They were able to pivot from Batman TAS to the light hearted The Brave And The Bold seamlessly. 'Suicide Squad - Hell To Pay' is fantastic.

Why do they have such a hard time with the live movies?

My kid saw Superman with me and I’m trying hard to get him to watch Justice League and then Justice League Unlimited. He’s been on a Marvel kick for a while and binged the whole MCU, so it’s time he learn the other side of the big 2.

Was the movie worth it? When I saw Krypto I didn't know whether to cheer or face palm.

Do like the idea that they brought in Guy friggin' Gardner.

Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed it! I’d see it again. It felt closer in tone to Donner’s version but was its own thing. Guy Gardner was a blast and the one I was most anxious to see and he did not disappoint. Mr Terrific was interesting and I can’t wait to see more. Hawkgirl was Hawkgirl and could’ve used more to do, but still a good interpretation.

Krypto was used well and there’s a logical reason he’s in the movie, but I won’t spoil it. I’m pretty excited for the future of the DCU!

It's an alternative history where an alien virus causes death [the Black Card] or a hideous mutation [Jokers] or super powers [Aces.]
