Ha, afraid I don't have much to add on this one! The Norse were prolific raiders who plundered numerous coastal locations in Europe during the Viking Age, especially monasteries, which had the appealing combination of "filled with dweebs who can't put up much of a fight" and "overflowing with wealth".

Here they are simply rescuing innocent wealth from a sudden and unexpected fire in one of these coastal monasteries, so brave and heroic ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ™

There had been Viking attacks in England for at least 4 years by that point, though Lindisfarne was the most brazen until then.
