Reading russian cursive is a truly mind melting experience.

It literally looks like a practical joke. "Ha, funny! ...Come on...you're not serious?"

Oh yes, lots of letters in cursive can sort of leak into the other letters, like 'л' and 'и' can make it look like 'ш' and so on

This reminded me of all the recent discussion about whether curaive should be taught in school. General viewpoints aside, I think it was a waste of time for thos individual, if the use of cursive is meant for anything but notes for themself.
