An abandoned community for the Philippines and all things Filipino! 🇵🇭

Started out as a Reddit alternative during the blackout from Jun 12-21, 2023 with over 1k members in just a few days. Fizzled faster than the "I Didn't Do It" kid after a month until it became the internet's Centralia in less than a year.

I don't want to sound like i'm anti-poor here but i often see them mentioning about losing their jobs. Wouldn't it be easier for them to transition as bus drivers? A lot of these modern jeepneys are glorified mini buses. Just with a smaller capacity

Sana talaga madali, pero hindi.

  1. You need additional training and certificates to drive a bus.
  2. Konti lang din ang franchise ng buses at yung pwede mag transition into bus driving.
  3. People already spent for their jeeps at yung iba di pa bayad or nakakabawi
  4. May benefits ang pagiging self-employed kaysa sa employed, lalo na people these days are made to hate on labor unions
